Helping Cruse  

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH CRUSE IN CORNWALL - do you have any time to give Cruse a hand? We need:

  • ONE-TO-ONE BEREAVEMENT VOLUNTEERS
  • TELEPHONE ANSWERERS
  • FRIENDSHIP GROUPS Organisers and assistants
  • FUNDRAISERS
  • MANAGEMENT Assistance and back-up

All potential Bereavement Volunteers are asked to submit an application form for approval, and will then be invited to an interview. Any offer of a Volunteer post with Cruse is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check.

All Bereavement Volunteers are entitled to claim mileage expenses at a rate of 25p per mile and other expenses incurred in their work for Cruse, e.g. cost of telephone calls.

Training, induction and ongoing support is available as part of our commitment to the continuing professional development of all Bereavement Volunteers.
